Mind Wellness program for children

By Mohanji Acharya Nirupma Chowdhary

19th December 2019

I am happy to share that in a Government school in the suburbs of Jammu city, India, we did our first Mind Wellness program and held a drawing competition for school children from the first to the eighth standard. It was a two-hours program for which the children were assembled in the corridor and made to sit on mats.

We began with breathing exercises and observing our breath. This was followed by Mohanji‘s beautiful ‘Freedom’ meditation.

Children were then told a story and were asked to look around the place and list orally the things that they could see. The session was pretty interactive. Everybody was provided with drawing sheets. Junior children could draw anything they wanted and color accordingly. Students from 5th to 8th were asked to draw a poster with a slogan or message. They had an hour to do that.

Later, a prize distribution was held and sweets were distributed. The program concluded with bhajans sung by children. It was heart-touching to see them sharing their meals with us.

On the request of their teacher, I offered Mai-Tri Method to two students. Mohanji’s power and energy were tangibly felt. Many blockages were released in both the children.

Indeed it was an amazing day, full of energy, love and happiness. The children brightened up the place with their smile and cheer.

Thank you, Mohanji!

Denmark in Mohanji’s Consciousness

By Mohanji Acharya Ulla Bernholdt

15th November 2019

The first Acharya program in Denmark took place in Bornholm island.

3

The program was called ‘Mantra, singing and meditation‘. Though only a few people attended this time, we enjoyed it to the fullest.

We had an introductory exercise of A-U-M chanting and breathing exercises. We then sang a few bhajans and after a brief explanation of mantras, we proceeded with chanting the Gayatri mantra and the Lokah Samastah prayer.

The program also included two of Mohanji’s meditations – ‘The Blossoms of Love’ and ‘Freedom’ meditation.

2

One of the participants said, “When I arrived, I was a bit worried and unhappy. During the meditations, I felt elevated and aware that we are all spiritual beings and I felt a sense of togetherness. At the end of the program, I had a feeling that everything was all right and just as it was supposed to be. I had a feeling of love and openness towards myself and others.”

What this participant has said clearly confirms at least a particle of what Mohanji does for all the participants of Mohanji Acharya programs. He never leaves anybody empty-handed. Each and every participant is always blessed and energized in some way.

Thanks to my musical assistant Medha, who brought about an extra dimension to the program with her lovely music. Thank you, Mohanji, for providing us with this opportunity of joy and community!

Bangalore in Mohanji’s Consciousness

By Mohanji Acharyas Arpana Nazre and Sathya Shivakumar

9th November 2019

The day of this program happened to be Ammucare day, the reason for our visit to Asha Jeevan Old Age Home in Bangalore, India. They have around 90 inmates and all of them are in different stages of health conditions. They all came walking; some with help and some in wheelchairs to the meditation hall. Some didn’t smile, while others welcomed us. It was evident that the rest of the world didn’t matter when their kith and kin had abandoned them. Most of them looked lonely and depressed. It was our humble attempt to bring some peace into their distraught lives.

10

We did the ‘Power of Purity’ meditation which was played in Kannada. All the attendees sat through and expressed peace and contentment post the meditation. While leaving, some of them asked us when we would be coming back for another session of meditation.

We sang bhajans after the meditation in which most of them participated with a full jest and sang along. Overall, we left even more humbled.

Thanks to Mohanji for giving us this platform to serve and be instruments of the Tradition of Liberation (lineage of saints/masters and Mohanji).

Stability in Mohanji’s Consciousness

By Mohanji Acharya Sathya Shivakumar

October 18th, 2019

The sixth session of “Stability in Mohanji’s consciousness” was conducted on Friday, October 18th 2019 at Navachetana Trust -School for special children in Bangalore.

This session followed the dussehra holidays. I had conducted two sessions before the school closed for vacation. Every session brings out something new and interesting. I had organized the fourth session on September 6th. That morning I had woken up with the thought of one of the special kids and taking that as a sign, decided to conduct the session on the same day without postponement.

My sister Radha had accompanied me on all the previous three sessions. I called her up and found out that she was busy with other plans that day. I decided to go ahead alone since the inner signal was strong. Much to my delight, as I entered the school that morning, a boy greeted me with a beaming smile. His eyes scanned around as if looking for someone along with me. As we went in, another child explicitly asked me, “Akka bhandilva” (Has your sister not come today?). I was touched by their recollection given their disposition.

img1

When she joined me during session 5, the kids welcomed her warmly and even reserved a space for her to sit next to them. Little gestures such as these, which we take for granted usually, add so much beauty to life and also reinforces that the best things in life are free! Blessings are bestowed upon us every second by the universe in subtle ways. We only need to be mindful, conscious and aware of them. During those two sessions, we recited bhajans and conducted the Freedom meditation followed by the Gurupaduka stotram.

Our most recent session last Friday started with bhajans followed by Freedom meditation given by Mohanji, as always.

The previous week, I had experienced shoulder cramps. Nagging pain in my right shoulder, the reason for which I couldn’t pinpoint. There were bursts of pain throughout the day that caused extreme discomfort and did not allow me to perform my regular activities. The pain acted as a reminder to me of those who need Mohanji and the healing process. I was also reminded of what Mohanji had once said to a person who had met him,

“There’s no use of acquiring something that has to be parked. It will only gather dust.” – Mohanji

Although I had become eligible to give Mohanji Energy Transfer (MET), I had not yet been applying it in my sessions. I was not rushing because I wanted to get familiar with the kids before opening them up to MET. This time, however, I was contemplating on doing the MET for the first time. Maybe it was the personal experiences of the prior week that acted as a reminder to initiate it, one wonders?

img3

As I started the process, I prayed to our Guru and the Gods silently. The first batch was the younger group. I could feel the energy flow and connected to Mohanji as I handled the different children. Most of them received it well but some resisted even as I placed my thumb on their forehead. I did not push them because they probably needed more time to be ready for it. During the session for the older group, I was able to perform MET to most of them. After the MET session, there was so much joy and gratitude in their faces that revealed all that they wanted to say.

Each time I conduct these sessions, I leave the school with a feeling of satisfaction and a deep sense of gratitude that through these sessions, I can provide a few hours of peace and calm in their otherwise challenging days. I am certain that Mohanji’s blessings would bring stability & light into their lives and I pray that the Guru Mandala continues to make me an instrument in this process.

When the heart expands with love, heaven descends into us. – Mohanji

Bliss at an Old Age Home

pic7

By Mohanji Acharyas Arpana Nazre and Sathya Shivakumar

October 19th 2019

We conducted a blissful Acharya program at Asha Jeevan Old Age Home Trust, in Bangalore. We had around 40 elderly who came for the program; some walked in, some were brought in wheelchairs. What amazed us was their enthusiasm to sit through the whole program though it was difficult to sit at a stretch since many of them were old.

We started with Power of Purity meditation and then sharing of experiences, followed by bhajans led by Acharya Sathya Shivakumar. There was another group of people who had come to donate to the home following the expiry of their mother. It was the 12th day after her death. They too requested to sit for the meditations and eagerly followed each instruction during the meditation. Many of them were first-timers, but they said that they felt very peaceful and happy after the meditation. The nursing staff and the caretakers also participated and the response was very good. They have requested us to conduct the meditations more often.

Another incident worth sharing was when giving MET to one person. He had severe shivering of his hands and head but during MET, his shivering stopped completely and he was quite stable. Mohanji’s energy flow was quite evident.

The caretakers of Asha Jeevan thanked us and also requested us to conduct POP more often. Some of them also sang bhajans they knew and the rest of us joined along. Last but not least, another inmate was asked to give a vote of thanks to us, and she very happily conveyed her gratitude with a small speech. We finally left feeling blissed and happy ourselves after interacting with these angels of love.

One day in Mohanji’s Consciousness

AC2

by Mohanji Acharya Devadas A C

19th October 2019

A Mohanji Acharya program titled ‘One day in Mohanji’s Consciousness’ was  conducted at Mr Balakrishna’s house, in Palakkad, Kerala.

Mr Balakrishnan has constructed a temple inside his house. It is a very powerful temple filled with divine energy. Mohanji likes to visit this temple when time permits, during his Kerala visit. Goddess Bhadrakali is in her full power decked with all her ornaments in this temple.

We started the program with pada pooja. Mr Balakrishnan did the pada pooja along with adhanga pooja. Then it was time for the Goddess’s aarati.

AC3
Pada Pooja

The Power of Purity meditation was conducted after the aarati. 19 people participated in this meditation during which MET was done. There were 3 new participants. They felt that this meditation was very good and powerful.

Everyone participated with utmost devotion in Mohanji Aarati (at noon) after the meditation. We then read one chapter from the Power of Purity book.

Lunch was provided by Mr Balakrishnan with various tasty dishes and a sweet (Payasam). As there were no participants for the Mai-tri  method, we moved onto chanting Mohanji Gayatri and singing bhajans. Anila, Anitha and Savithri sang poems written by our beloved Biju Cherukunnam. We also listened to some of the kirtans sung by Mohanji Acharya Sathya Shivakumar and team. We concluded the blissful day at 3.45 pm after distributing prasad.

My sincere thanks to beloved Balettan for providing his house for the Acharya Program.
