We conducted a blissful Acharya program at Asha Jeevan Old Age Home Trust, in Bangalore. We had around 40 elderly who came for the program; some walked in, some were brought in wheelchairs. What amazed us was their enthusiasm to sit through the whole program though it was difficult to sit at a stretch since many of them were old.

We started with Power of Purity meditation and then sharing of experiences, followed by bhajans led by Acharya Sathya Shivakumar. There was another group of people who had come to donate to the home following the expiry of their mother. It was the 12th day after her death. They too requested to sit for the meditations and eagerly followed each instruction during the meditation. Many of them were first-timers, but they said that they felt very peaceful and happy after the meditation. The nursing staff and the caretakers also participated and the response was very good. They have requested us to conduct the meditations more often.

Another incident worth sharing was when giving MET to one person. He had severe shivering of his hands and head but during MET, his shivering stopped completely and he was quite stable. Mohanji’s energy flow was quite evident.

The caretakers of Asha Jeevan thanked us and also requested us to conduct POP more often. Some of them also sang bhajans they knew and the rest of us joined along. Last but not least, another inmate was asked to give a vote of thanks to us, and she very happily conveyed her gratitude with a small speech. We finally left feeling blissed and happy ourselves after interacting with these angels of love.
